Our Structure

Our basketball board operates as a sub-booster club under a larger local oversight umbrella. While that larger board handles high-level logistics for several groups, the Girls Basketball Board is the group on the ground managing the daily needs, finances, and events for our players.

June Ball vs. Winter Season (The Money)

It is important to understand how your money is used during different parts of the year.

  1. JUNE BALL (Summer): Pay-to-Play
  • How it works: The school does not fund summer basketball.
  • The Requirement: June Ball is a “Pay-to-Play” program. The Booster Club pays for all tournament entries and league fees.
  • The Rule: In order for a player to participate in June, the booster fee must be paid in full.

  1. WINTER SEASON (Official School Season): Booster Benefits
  • How it works: Playing on the team during the school year is free. You do not have to pay to play in school-sponsored games.
  • The “Elite Experience” Fee: The Booster Club provides the items the school budget does not cover. To receive these benefits, a booster fee is required in November.
  • What you get: This fee covers away-game meals, team gear (sweatshirts, bags, etc.), in-season tournament entries, Media Day professional photos, and the End-of-Year Banquet.
  • The Rule: If the booster fee is not paid, the athlete will participate in all school-required practices and games, but will not receive the booster-supplied gear, meals, or banquet access.

The Angel Fund & Payment Plans

We believe every girl should be part of the “Full Pack,” regardless of their bank account.

  • Support: If you cannot afford the booster fees, we have an Angel Fund available to cover the costs so your daughter is fully included in all team activities and gear.
  • Flexibility: We also offer monthly Payment Plans.
  • Contact: See our Treasurer, Paul Conant, for a confidential discussion on these options.

Membership & Voting Rights

Per our operating guidelines, the Booster Club is a member-supported organization.

  • One Vote per Family: Each family that is current on their booster fees is a “Member” and receives one vote in annual elections and major decisions.
  • Angel Fund Note: While the Angel Fund allows the player to participate in everything, it does not grant booster membership or voting rights to the family.
  • Board Members: To hold a seat on the Board and maintain voting status, board members must be current on their own booster fees.

Elections & Volunteering

The Board isn’t a lifetime appointment we need fresh faces every year to keep the program moving forward!

  • Annual Elections: We elect four board members every year. If you want to have a say in how the program is run, we encourage you to run for a seat.
  • Volunteer Needs: We are always looking for help with Team Dinners (hosted at parent homes), Senior Night, and the Awards Banquet.
  • Get Involved: Talk to BG Aguirre or Paul Conant at any game to find out how you can help or join the board.
